Admit that’s the truth 

I take pills because I follow my doctor’s orders. I do therapy to think straight. I work out because I like to. I drink coffee because I need to. I drink tea to stop and think for a minute. I sleep to forget. I conversate to manipulate. I hear people to be distracted. I don’t make sense of what people say because I’m not really paying attention. I listen to music to concentrate. I drink water cause is summer. I look tan cause that’s me. I’m hot because I’m my mom’s daughter. I’m intelligent cause I know how much one plus one is. None.

I’m heartless cause I already had too many lovers. I don’t want a teacher because I’ve already learned. I won’t teach you because I just wont. I work from home cause I’m a taurus. I don’t text back because I’m lazy. Or I don’t care. I please people when I want to, when I don’t it’s because I don’t care. I type fast cause I said I would. I still think about it, because I’m damn stupid. I like 2019 cause 2022 sucked so bad. I moved back to Brazil cause I was writing “Brasil” with a “Z” for far too long.

Do not be afrait to change what you’ve gotta change.

I don’t have many friends because I don’t text them back. I have a huge heart because I don’t use it too often. I imagine myself as a stepmother to keep my options open. I listen to Amy Whinehouse at the gym because it suits me. I don’t go out with boys because they keep telling me I’m too pretty and too difficult, so I make it simple. I upset boys because I’m still in love with that guy. He’s just a guy because it’s hard to be a man (It seems). I’m slowing down because I’m tired of going too fast.

I don’t share my playlist because that’d make me feel naked. I don’t get naked because I’m too precious. I’m lonely because I’m too precious. I pray because I need to. I eat noodles because I’ve been up all night. I don’t got a job because I’m looking for the perfect one. I forgot because you forgot it too. I disagree because I’m always right. I question because I’m too suspicious to just accept.

My neck hurts because I’ve been sleeping bad. You’re my crush cause c’mon. You’re too common cause you wear those freaking shoes. You sell that shit because you don’t know any better. I refuse your King bed cause I rather sleep alone. I snap my fingers because I want you to wake up. You can’t catch me cause you’re far behind. I’m too cocky cause I need to push some creeps away. I always start with a dirty martini because first impressions are everything.

1. I’m a new person because there is no space for ‘them same old mistakes.
2. I share things with you because I trust you, or I just need to get it out of my chest.
3. I cuss because I need to sometimes.
4. I erase cause I often overshare.
5. I will delete some contacts cause they are of no use to me.
6. I listen to myself cause I’m mostly right.

The reason why

I’m sophisticated because I’m left-handed. I’m an older sister because God said so. I have wild dreams at night because I don’t smoke weed no more. I can’t decide cause my moon is in libra. I bite my tongue because I’m not satisfied. I don’t miss summer because it’s summer. Purple is my favorite color cause she thought me well. I don’t post on Instagram too often because I rather say stuff on my blog. I suffer because I’m human. I get better because I’m smart. I take breaks because I get bored too fast.

The good & The bad

I procrastinate because I haven’t learned how not to. I don’t go back because I look forward. I take notes to overcome mistakes. I read to you cause you said my voice sounds good. I talk to the mirror to persuade myself. I’m allowed to ask for miracles cause I’m back at praying to God. I always have my watch on because I like to control things. I can’t control a thing because I’m always late. My glass is always full because nothing about me could ever be “half”.

Remaining thoughts  

Forever is a long time cause we have no time. I had to stop a few things in life because it used to make me sick. There is always a cause because there was a previous act/action. Action is important because you need a cause. I swallow every time I think of it because it’s still stuck in my throat. I’m angry because that’s no way of ending things. My brain’s muscles grows as I make decisions. I make good decisions.
